It’s not just about specifications though, as the company has various problems that they need to address from the release of the One M9, such as its overheating and battery life. If they have addressed everything related to the hardware adequately, we expect a very notable release from the One M10.
One thing is certain – the company still has a very active following of people who would gladly buy their next flagship if it looks like it’s worth the price. The situation with the M9 didn’t really harm the company’s popularity that much in grand scheme of things, and they can still easily recover with a carefully planned release.
If the release really is planned for February, fans should prepare to get more information in a few weeks, most likely by the end of January. If nothing happens by then, it would probably be safe to forget about those rumors for now.
But considering that the rumors have been going around very strongly and have been repeated by several sources, there is probably some credibility to them. It would be interesting to keep an eye on the market in the next weeks as this release can easily be huge if HTC do it right.
