House of Cards Season 5 Expected to Bring Drastic Changes to Show, Reports Claim!

A lot has happened over the years in “House of Cards”, and the show is no stranger to drama and sudden plot twists. And it seems like the producers have every intention to keep things the same way for season 5, as current reports indicate that some major changes are coming up. Not only that, but those apparently have the potential to significantly impact the show’s ratings, either in a positive or negative way.

The production crew is going through some changes, among other things. Beau Willimon has departed from the team, and this could indicate some potential changes in the format for season 5. Whenever a major show goes through such a change, this usually leads to serious consequences, and while we’ve seen many productions survive such a development in the past, some fans seem a little skeptical for the future of “House of Cards” in particular.

However, those skeptical voices seem to be in a minority right now, and many are actually looking forward to what season 5 could potentially bring to the table. The plot developments that were lined up towards the end of season 4 set up some exciting cliffhangers, and there are plenty of things for fans to look forward to.

One of the biggest questions right now is what will happen to Frank Underwood, as his character was particularly set up for some drastic developments. He had to make some questionable decisions all throughout the season, and the showrunners did a great job at portraying the changes he went through.

And now, it looks like we’re about to see him in some even more difficult situations. There are even some rumors claiming that the character could be on his way out, with his death possibly coming up in season 5. While that would be a very drastic development with few precedents in TV history, it’s not something we would put past the show’s creators.

Many characters on “House of Cards” have been treated as largely expendable, and the producers seem to be treating them in a way that mirrors their own attitudes on the screen. That is to say, each character is simply a tool in the grand scheme of things, and he/she is used exactly like the producers want to. After that, anything is on the table regarding what happens to those characters next.

Doug is a good example of that, and many fans expect the character to face even more difficult times in season 5. He’s already gone through a lot, but that doesn’t have to mean that things are going to change for the better for him. In fact, it would be completely in the style of this show’s producers to make his situation even worse and keep dragging him down.

Of course, this presumes that the show will now be run in the exact same way as before Beau Willimon’s departure. It’s probably not very reasonable to expect that though, and we will likely see some changes in the overall structure and themes portrayed on the screen.

House Of Cards Season 5

This means that the constant heavy-handed attitude towards some characters might not be so constant in this season. But things could easily change in the exact opposite direction, making it even messier for the more vulnerable characters on the screen. And it’s not like there’s a shortage of vulnerabilities all around, especially when it comes to Doug.
