‘House of Cards’ Season 4 New Rumors Say that Frank and Claire Will Stick Together Amid Blowout Breakup!

Even rumors develop their own twist and that seems to be the case with previous speculations regarding the main plotline for the upcoming fourth season of the American political drama TV series “House of Cards” on Netflix early next year.

Previous reports indicate that following the blowout breakup of Frank and Claire Underwood, the President and First Lady of the United States, respectively, during the Season 3 finale of “House of Cards,” it was greatly speculated that the two lead characters of the series will figuratively go at each other’s throats come election time.

In fact, during an interview in June, Oscar-winning veteran actor Kevin Spacey said that he is actually wary about his character Frank Underwood when the show returns next year.

He said that Frank, as president of the United States, and as former husband to Claire Underwood, should carefully watch his step and be wary of what his ex-wife is planning against him. Spacey hinted then that Claire will be cooking up a lot of things to bring Frank down and the president should be ready for it so that he can survive the biggest onslaught on his political career.

The actor added that Frank should start looking at all the possibilities of how Claire would get back to him because he believes that the former wife could now do anything she wanted and throw anything at the president.

More wickedness

Show creator Michael Dobbs was actually consistent with the pronouncement made by Kevin Spacey when he said that Season 4 of “House of Cards” will feature more wickedness and that there will be more Machiavellian scheming making its way to the TV series.

Dobbs also said that despite being a slick politician, Frank will finally get his comeuppance at some point, but the question is whether they survive and come back for more, details the Christian Post.

During Season 3, Frank said early on that he was on his way out and that he was no longer going for re-election but by the end of the season, he has changed his mind and decided to run again. Obviously, politics has a certain lure on people, notes Dobbs.

Sticking together

According to Ecumenical News, there have been speculations of late that amid their blowout breakup in Season 3 finale, Claire will change her mind and will stick together with her husband. But accordingly, they will continue their relationship for public consumption only.

There is even an added bonus to the new set of rumors when reports came out that the First Couple will even adopt a baby, which would be really good for Frank’s re-election plans.

However, these latest reports, just like the previous ones, have not been confirmed nor denied by Michael Dobbs or anybody else from the show and as such these should be taken with a fine grain of salt.

The rumors and speculations on the upcoming plotline and cast members of “House of Cards” Season 4 are so plenty that one would think that the show is about to air in a few weeks time. But it is not; the series is still five to six months away from airing on the streaming service. But filming has been underway for quite some time that is why leaks are coming out on the internet too.

What is confirmed at this point is that after the blowout breakup of Frank and Claire Underwood, it is expected that Season 4 will be more vicious than the past three seasons of the series combined.

It was rumored that Claire Underwood would work on undermining Frank’s credibility and reputation as President of the United States and she will run against him during the election.

House Of Cards Season 4

There have been reports that Neve Campbell will be coming in to join the cast members of “House of Cards” Season 4. While there are still no concrete details on Neve’s role in the series, it was reported that she will be taking on the role as the other half of the new power couple in the series.
