Homeland Season 6 May Focus More Heavily on Romantic Subplots, How Will the New US President Be Depicted? Let’s See

While “Homeland” has had its fair share of romance in the show’s past seasons, it looks like season 6 is going to put even more focus on that aspect, for better or worse. More specifically, there could be some major parts of the story revolving around Quinn and Carrie, and the moments between the two characters might be a bit awkward at times.

The two have gone through a lot over the years, and this will all come rushing back in season 6, according to reports. We don’t know if they will be able to resolve their issues or if things will only get worse by the end of the season, but hopefully the producers aren’t planning to make it too difficult for the two characters.

Because whether they like each other or not, they will have to spend a lot of time together due to their circumstances, so getting over their issues is basically their only viable option at the moment. Of course, it would be completely in the style of “Homeland” to put them through some tense moments at first, and we expect that the first episodes of the new season will be particularly tough for them.

Meanwhile, other reports indicate that the producers of the show have been having some trouble figuring out how to represent the new US President in the show’s upcoming sixth season, but they’ve come up with a clever solution.

We will apparently see a character that’s a mix between the personalities of Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton, something that could add an interesting element to the show. Especially given the way the producers of “Homeland” like to exaggerate certain features of their characters from time to time, we expect that this season could be full of golden moments just because of the President’s character alone.

There will also be a lot of focus on an issue revolving the quality of life of Muslims in the United States, and we will see Carrie working towards improving their conditions with the help of an organization. This could make the new season a hot topic even among non-fans of “Homeland”, and we’re curious if the producers specifically chose this element for inclusion right now.

No matter what their motivation was though, it’s not a bad idea at all to bring some light on issues of this type, so we just hope that the new season will represent the situation from all sides adequately, instead of focusing on one specific aspect of it.

Other than that, we might see some episodes focusing on the new President dealing with the fallout from some of Obama’s deals, although it wasn’t specified what those could be. It’s also possible that the writers could throw some fiction in there, in order to further exaggerate the dramatic nature of the events, and that would be entirely in the style of “Homeland”.

For now, fans seem mostly excited about the situation with Quinn, as the confirmation that the character was alive came as a bit of a surprise to some. The ending of season 5 opened a lot of questions for fans, but thankfully it doesn’t seem like the producers are going to keep them lingering in the air for too long.

In fact, it seems like season 6 will start by exploring those issues in more detail and resolving them as best as possible, and after that it will move on to new, fresh parts of the story.
