One thing is certain though, the future of “Homeland” is going to be full of interesting surprises, and some of the characters of the show might be shown in an entirely new light that reveals a completely different aspect of their personalities.
Quinn, in any case, is going to be explored in more detail and shown from a new perspective, but it would be interesting to see how other storylines are developed as well. The show is full of characters with a lot of potential, and the writers should look into them in more detail.
Carrie herself could use some extra development, even though we have already seen many sides of her personality. Her new occupation in Berlin should present some opportunities to show her from a new angle though, so hopefully we will see her character evolving too.
This show has a lot of potential to stay on the screen for a long time, and hopefully its producers are going to realize that potential to its fullest, instead of letting it glide along on its success. In fact, season 5 is exactly where they should really start exploring the different possibilities for some of the characters.
