Heather Locklear has decided to take steps to make 2017 a year of change. Pop Culture reported that Heather Locklear has chosen to enter rehab to get back on track. Rumors suggested that Heather Locklear might have had a melt-down and that would have prompted her to enter rehab.
This would be Heather Locklear’s fifth stint in the rehab. Locklear’s representative has come to state that Locklear has steps to better her life. She didn’t have a meltdown. However, Locklear’s rep didn’t confirm if Heather was actually in rehab.
According to Page Six, Heather Locklear informed her fans that she was feeling great and was taking steps to enrich herself. She had some loose ends to tie in her life, and she wanted to do it at the beginning of the year so that she could continue the year in the correct manner.
RadarOnline reported that Melrose Palace has checked in at the Cliffside Malibu rehab center. According to rumor, when Locklear checked in, she was drunk and on pills. She had a meltdown and was screaming and crying. She urged the rehab center to immediately help her detox herself.
Locklear has had a long stint in the rehab. She has struggled with alcohol and drugs for a significant chunk of her life. She checked in at the rehab first in 2008 after she had a DUI arrest. Locklear was arrested for driving under the influence of drugs in Santa Barbara.
She again checked in at the rehab in 2010. Locklear checked into the rehab upon being asked to enter a 30-day in-patient program after she got caught in a hit and run case in California. The brief stint didn’t help her, and she was back there in 2012 after she was hospitalized. She was supposedly having prescribed drugs with alcohol.
The 2012 hospitalization and rehab stint happened after a distress call to 911. According to ET, the actress was completely out of control. The main reason for Heather Locklear’s meltdown was her break up with James Wagner. Wagner called off their engagement, and she couldn’t come to terms with it.
Heather Locklear is a great person, but she becomes completely different when she is on drugs and alcohol. Her family and friends were worried about her and had time and again asked her to take control of her life and make positive changes.
Heather Locklear realized that her drug and alcohol problem was starting to impact her career. She has faced a lot of negative headlines and is finding it hard to get regular work since the producers fear a meltdown.
The actress is expected to appear on TLC’s Too Close to Home Season 2 from Wednesday. The show sees Locklear play the role of First Lady Katelyn Christian. Locklear’s character takes control of the government affair and her marriage after she catches her husband, President Christian (Matt Battaglia) in a compromising position with a White House staffer, Anna (Danielle Savre).
ABC asked Heather Locklear to be a part of their series. Fresh Off the Boat. She would be in with Courtney Thorne Smith. Locklear will play the role of Sarah, who is a strong-willed woman, ex-wife of Marvin, played by Ray Wise. Sarah blames Honey, played by Chelsea Crisp for the break-up of her marriage.
Sarah is an independent woman who works at the glove counter at a department store while working as a DJ at the Radisson. Heather Locklear will be a part of the 13th episode, which is titled, “The Gloves Are Off.” The episode will be directed by Fred Savage.
