We don’t know much about Michael Schumacher since his skiing accident following his waking up from a coma. We witnessed a few updates regarding his health conditions that were widely proclaimed by the Sabine Kehm, the representative of this Formula One legend along with Jean Todt, the boss of International Automobile Federation’s (FIA).
As a result, fans have been thrown into a frenzy when someone rumored to be close to his family or his friends has shared information regarding what the German racer is currently up to. Let us take a look at the case with Dr. Gary Hartstein. He was a former Formula One Doctor and has worked close with Michael during his time in the tracks.
Presently, he retired from the racing world and started up a blog of his own known as, A Former F1 Doc Writes. This blog has been controversial for the last few months regarding his insights on medicine and motorsports. He discussed the popular cases of Jules Bianchi along with his world-famous former client, Michael Schumacher.
According to his reports, the celebrated seven-time F1 World Champion is currently improving. He also spoke to the media regarding his concerns over Michael Schumacher’s health. During his interview with Mail Online, he was reported saying that as time passes by, it gets less and less likely that Schumacher will rise from any significant extent. What he said sparked up further worries regarding the German Racer.
This is not the first time he has said anything regarding him. Michael Schumacher has been discussed many times in his blog posts. However, this uncalled-for insight on Michael Schumacher has had its consequences. FIA recently wanted to have him fired, and this could surely be the reason for it. Gerard Saillant, President of the FIA Institute that Hartstein’s posts violated his contract with the University Hospital of Liege.
As declared by Harstein, Saillant met with the dean of this medical facility with numerous controversial blog posts and even an email that was reported sent from Corrina Schumacher. We can safely assume that the latter contained a request urging the doctor not to remark on the health of her husband. The email was not received by Hartstein due to a typo error in the address. The visit took place in order to figure out whether Hartstein was violating his contract at work.
All of this made Hartstein quite angry, and he claimed that his patients being famous personalities, he has always been tactful enough to stick to whatever the media is saying.
