Hannibal did not dismiss Francis’ thoughts on killing. He even encouraged him. Hannibal said that if Francis does no really want to give Reba to the Red Dragon, he can always pick someone else in return. This gave him the idea that Will Graham might be the better option. Hannibal added on this plan and said that Will has a family. It would be better if Francis will kill them all.
Francis checked a couple of films while Reba was there, but he did not mind since Reba is blind. Francis investigated on Will’s family. The film had Will’s dogs, his wife, and his stepson. Francis succeeded in killing the dogs. When Molly found out, she tried to keep it as a secret because she feared it was her fault for feeding the dogs China-made food that they died.
As the Red Dragon grows rampant, Will suspects more and more that Hannibal is getting in contact with him. When Will contacted Hannibal, the prisoner blatantly asked him how that would be possible since he is locked up in a prison cell.
Fortunately, Molly was able to anticipate that something is going wrong and she was able to escape with her son even before the Red Dragon appeared. Molly even set up a trick for the Red Dragon to be thrown off. Molly and her son tried to escape. As they reached the road, a driver allowed them to ride his car before getting shot in the back. Molly drove the car even though she was shot. “Hannibal” airs on NBC every Saturday.
