The odds are better that fans would love to see the show go on regardless of how the last episode was done. Just like in the popular movies, the television show centered itself around the FBI and Hannibal. Hannibal is going to use his smarts to take over the FBI agent without him even knowing it and the FBI agent is trying to avoid just that, while trying to figure out the head of Hannibal.
If fans are certain this is the end of Hannibal for good, then it might be looked at one of the best, shortened television shows of all time, but that is not likely to be the case.
If another television network picked the show up, the fans would be jumping for joy and ready to see where this story is going to go. Knowing there is so much more that can come from The Red Dragon book is leaving a ray of hope for fans that want the show to come back.
