Half Life 3 Will Feature Gordon Freeman as the Main Protagonist, Game Will Come In VR!

Half-Life 3 is one of the most highly anticipated games at the moment, and there are millions of fans all over the world who are clamoring for it. The game will be probably released by Valve in 2018 to celebrate its 20th anniversary.

The first Half-Life title was introduced back in 2008 for PC. However, Valve has remained completely silent about the development and progress of Half-Life 3. They did not make any official announcement regarding the title. People don’t even know whether the company is making the title or not. However, according to the latest leaks and rumors, the company is presently working on the third installment of this series.

A GameSpresso report suggests that Valve News Network along with some code detectives have noticed hints that the game is currently under development and it may include some excellent new features. DOTA 2 included a recent update which contained a code named, HLVR.

The code hinted that Half Life 3 would come in Virtual Reality. Fans are quite excited about it since if that happens, we’ll get to see a Half-Life game in Virtual Reality! Other reports suggest that HTC and Valve are working together to develop the game.

The HTC chairwoman, Cher Wang, confirmed earlier at Mobile World Congress that they are working together on Half-Life. However, she didn’t clearly mention whether it was the Half Life 3 that she was talking about. There are countless rumors and speculations of the game circulating online, and they keep increasing by the day.

These rumors further hint that Gordon Freeman will continue to be the protagonist of the Half-Life series. Some rumors suggest that he will be searching for Helena Mossman, the missing doctor.

The latest rumors indicate that his mission will take him deep underwater. He will have to go to the Kraken Base using a submarine. The doctor is located there, in a secret laboratory. His final objective will be to emerge alive out of that base.

There’s a whole new gaming experience awaiting the veteran players of Half-Life. People are also wondering whether this game will be compatible with Nintendo’s latest console, Switch.

Meanwhile, fans are eagerly waiting for the release of two games, Left 4 Dead 3 and Half-Life 3. Speculations have talked about its release date going on for some time.

These reports have neither been confirmed nor denied by Valve. Half-Life 3 fans and players are not at all happy about Valve keeping shut due to which some watchful gamers figured out news ways to bring out information. A Half-Life Virtual Reality code suggests that some updates are coming within the game.

The game is expected to release in 2018 and it should come in time for the 20th anniversary of the title. However, these reports are not officially confirmed as of yet. The findings of Valve News Network Company reveal that some locations have been receiving code messages related to VR.

The references keep getting modified, and in some locations, the codes are being changed by an advanced one. In a DOTA 2 update, a message read, “Used to force the HLVR player to speak.” A clear conclusion that can be easily deducted from all these codes is that Half Life 3 will come in VR.

There have also been speculations regarding the primary protagonist of this title. Die-hard fans are always talking about Gordon but are that true? Game N Guide further reported that Gordon’s main mission would be to get out of the Kraken Base alive.
