Fans of the Half Life Series had almost given up on Half Life 3 as confirmed reports were scarce. However, a section of the crowd managed to keep the rest on tenterhooks by releasing spy images that were rumored to be from the game and by speculating about probable release dates of the same.
The Half Life franchise is one of the most eagerly awaited around the globe, although, the makers refused to recognize this potential earlier on. Initial reports claim that Valve is working on two projects simultaneously at the moment.
Even though Valve has chosen to stay mum for now, fans finally have a reason to cheer for as Christian Post revealed in one of their posts that ex-Valve employee Minh Le revealed Half Life 3 is currently under production. Le has seen a few late-stage artworks of the same, alongside Left 4 Dead 3.
Both these titles are highly anticipated, and a section of fans have not been able to catch a good night’s rest since the reports were made public. The Counter-Strike creator however revealed that he was not aware of the official launch date, although, he urged fans to remain calm as the game is currently under development. Creating such a highly anticipated title takes precision, which is a very time-consuming process.
Fans should not give up on Half Life just yet keeping in mind Minh Le’s assurances. Half Life 3 has been crowd-sourced to provide fans with the best possible gameplay and graphics. Hence, development is taking a lot longer than anticipated. The makers were not interested initially in Half Life 3 as they felt that the game would not be popular with the masses.
The situation however is entirely different. In fact, this late realization took a heavy toll on Valve’s customer satisfaction and popularity. However, to throw light on the situation, a few reputed sources have hinted at mid-2015 as the official release date for Half-Life 3.
It is too early to divulge additional details on the issue, although, we promise to return with additional news, reports and updates as soon as further information regarding the situation is available. We suggest you hold on to your horses for the time being.
