‘Half-Life 3’ Most Likely to Come Out in 2018 Already on Virtual Reality Platform

There have been various changes which have been incorporated to other games by the company. However, the “Half-Life” game series stopped after 2006.

Another sequel entitled “Half-Life 2: Episode 1” came out in 2004, just a few months after “Half-Life 2” came out.

It was then followed by “Half-Life 2: Episode 2” in 2006. It was originally supposed to be a trilogy of episodes, but a decade after, no “Half-Life: Episode 3,” let alone a “Half-Life 3,” has been released by Valve.

The game also released a lot of expansion packs such as “Half-Life: Opposing Force,” “Half-Life: Blue Shift,” and “Half-Life: Decay.”

The game received critical acclaim for its graphics, realistic gameplay, and seamless narrative. It also won many awards such as multiple ‘Game of the Year’ awards and is often considered as one of the greatest games of all time.

The game was ported to the PlayStation 2 in 2001, and the OS X and Linux in 2013. In 2004, a sequel, entitled “Half-Life 2” was released.

The sequel was merely a rumor until it was finally revealed at E3 back in 2003. In the sequel, players take on again the role of Dr. Gordon Freeman, this time, 20 years after the Black Mesa incident in the dystopic Eastern European City 17. Players must fight as part of a rebellion against an alien regime.
