Since there is still no news yet of the possible launching of “Left 4 Dead 3,” the rumors on the unveiling of “Half-Life 3” could merely be just that – rumors.
In addition, Valve Corporation continues to remain mum about both games so everything about the two widely anticipated games is mere speculation at this juncture.
The rumors that “Half-Life 3” would come out on Steam Dev Days 2017 emanated from the holding of the same event, Steam Dev Days 2016, in the first week of October.
Valve made plenty of hardware announcements during the event but assured gamers that they will be making a lot of software-related announcements in next year’s event.
That short statement already sparked rumors that one of those software-related announcements for Steam Dev Days 2017 is going to be “Half-Life 3.”
Before the rumors of the game possibly coming out in Steam Dev Days 2017, there were reports saying that “Half-Life 3” shall feature a Kraken Base that was based on “Half-Life 2.” It is also said that the Kraken Base is supposed to be made in the beginning of the “Half-Life” storyline.
The same speculations are saying that “Half-Life 3” might also have underwater terrains and submarines and the game’s main storyline shall revolve around the Kraken Base.
