There have been some reports previously that Matthew McConaughey was being considered for the role of a villain in “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2”, and while those reports were somewhat controversial in the community of fans of the franchise, some still had hope that they were true. In the end though, it looks like those fans are going to be disappointed, as it’s now been reported that the actor wasn’t interested in taking part in the production. Some fans have tried reaching out to Klementieff herself for more information, hoping that she would reveal some details about her role, but to no avail – she doesn’t really seem interested in sharing any juicy secrets about the upcoming film.
This is also valid for most other people involved in the production, and there is a lot of secrecy around it in general. Fans of the first film have been a bit irritated by this in some cases, claiming that they would prefer to get a little more communication from the producers and that it wouldn’t hurt the film’s popularity if more information was shared about it during its development.
