After all, he was eventually able to get revenge for the death of his family through the destruction of Ronan and his legendary Warhammer, using the help of his new family, the Guardians of the Galaxy. However, one interesting question remains – is the character actually as powerless as he seemed?
Fans of the franchise would know that he’s one of the few who’re able to stay up against Thanos, one of the most powerful entities in the universe, a long time before the Guardians. However, Drax ended up losing his flight ability and energy blast, which is why he was then unable to defeat Ronan by himself.
Marvel could be tweaking the character now, bringing us something more interesting for the next installment, and that film could see a completely reformed character in him if that’s true.
Other than that, there are some more minor rumors about the plot and what directions it might take, but those are less likely to be true and more difficult to confirm, so we’re reluctant to discuss them at this point.
