While the main plot of the sequel has yet to be revealed, what is confirmed at this point is that the major characters will be back led by Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana as Gamora, Dave Bautista as Drax, Bradley Cooper (or his voice) as Rocket. It is not clear if Vin Diesel (or his voice) will return as Groot.
Chris Pratt will be very busy as a bee by the time filming of “Guardians of the Galaxy 2” starts as he is confirmed for at least two more blockbuster movies.
In addition to the filming of the “Jurassic World 2,” the actor shall also start working on “Indiana Jones 5.” It is not clear if he will take on the role of Harrison Ford as archeologist Dr. Indy Jones or he would come in either as a son or a protégé. But given that it is initially titled as “Indiana Jones 5,” the chances of Chris playing the son of Dr. Jones or his protégé are high.
“Jurassic World 2” is imperative for Chris Pratt as “Jurassic World” officially run away as the third highest-grossing movie of all time next only to “Avatar” and “Titanic.” It has dislodged “Marvel’s The Avengers” from the third spot which the movie has been holding on for more than three years already.
