GTA V: Heists Release Date Unknown, Rumors Suggest Rockstar Working on GTA: San Andreas HD for the Xbox 360 and PS3

GTA V Heists is nowhere in sight at the moment and even though Rockstar Games is yet to come out with an official explanation, a section of fans believe that this delay could be accredited to the San Andreas remake.

In their official message, Rockstar Games said, “We are sorry, but there are no official confirmations for the release date of Heists. Please stay tuned.” Heists in an important part of GTA’s Online franchise and fans have been waiting for it for quite a while now.

Rockstar Games announced back in April this year that the next installment to the Online franchise will be added soon, preferably post-spring. However, no information has been released till date, and it has been more than a year since GTA: Online released.

Fans are not concerned about the teaser video posted by YouTuber Domislive, showcasing images of underdeveloped graphics and animations. The video is rumored to feature the actual graphics of the game. However, fans are more desperate about the release date than mere speculations.

Among the 100 scenes that were depicted in the video, we see instances of lock-picking, ATM mugging, bank heists and other heist missions. According to initial reports, the video has been compiled from numerous scenes taken from the underdeveloped game.

Rockstar Games is believed to be working on GTA: San Andreas HD for the time being, which will be available on the Xbox 360 and PS3. This is the most logical reason for Rockstar’s delay at the moment.

The developers are hence working on small time DLC packs, instead of spending time on a huge project. However, gamers are not concerned about other DLCs save for Online Heists, and we hope Rockstar Games makes a favorable announcement soon.

Considering the success of GTA IV, it is rather surprising that the makers only came up with two proper DLCs – the Ballad of Gay Toni and Lost and Damned. We sure hope that the makers have different plans for GTA V.

However, GTA: San Andreas HD sounds like an equally interesting proposition, as the original San Andreas is one of the most popular games from Rockstar. Hence, their decision to come up with an HD version of the game is quite natural.

GTA V Heists

We have no information whether the game will launch on the Windows PC, Xbox One and PS4, although, the last gen gamers are happy about the current proceeds. Rockstar Games is primarily focused on business, although, they should fulfill their fans’ expectations once in a while.
