In response to the clamor of “Grand Theft Auto” gamers and enthusiasts, Rockstar Games is reportedly introducing a central female character for the upcoming “Grand Theft Auto 6.”
The developer is convinced that “GTA 6” is the perfect springboard to introducing a female protagonist to keep the storyline exciting and engaging with her own adventures and misadventures, notes the International Business Times of India.
Rockstar said that the new female character will surely engage the players into completing the missions and move forward to the next levels of the game
The developer also believes that the new female character on “Grand Theft Auto 6” is likely to compel an epic storyline that will further hooked gamers into the latest installment of the open-world action-adventure video game.
Heightening of interest
Interest on the “GTA 6” began to heighten all the more this month following the release of the “GTA 5” on the PC after five months of waiting by gamers.
Now that gamers and fans are no longer waiting for anything related to “GTA 5” or the long awaited but otherwise truly worth it online heist DLC, focus is now on the upcoming edition of one of the world’s most popular, if not the most popular, video game of all time.
As usual, Rockstar has not been making any official announcement or statement to confirm or deny reports about the “GTA 6,” which only propels the speculations all the more.
But what is pretty much confirmed as far as game experts are concerned is that “GTA 6” would certainly be bigger than its predecessor considering the significant improvements that Rockstar has been giving its game for every upgrade.
As early as last year, there have been talks about the location of the “GTA 6,” which shall reportedly no longer be in Los Santos or Blaine County but instead on certain reputable cities in the United States. Among those that were brought forth were Portland, Chicago, and also Texas though those are still unconfirmed.
Lately, however, there are new reports saying that the new location may be in London. The basis for the assumption of London as possible location for “GTA 6” was based on the statement made by Dan Houser of Rockstar two years ago.
He said back then that Rockstar would really love to set a game in the UK, particularly in London because there are plenty of good stories to tell about the UK, its great environments, and the great gameplay mechanics that could feature a UK slant to then.

Houser also said that although personally he feels that “GTA” per se has the American signature all over it, the game can certainly be tailor-fit to make it more suited to the preferences of gamers and not Rockstar. He said that they are willing to explore something new on the game’s location and make it truly iconic.
