GTA 6 Canceled by Rockstar Games? No-Show at PlayStation Meeting, Developers Focus On GTA 5, Releases GTA 5 Redux Mod!

With Rockstar Games focused on GTA 5, they hinted at postponing and even canceling GTA 6. Despite any official announcement, there are quite a few rumors circulating online. With no official news, fans are going to believe the rumors unless proved otherwise.

According to rumors, GTA 6 is set in the 1960s and will take place in Liberty City. Some feel that GTA 6 is going to make a shift away from the streets of cities in the USA and focus on international locations. GTA 6 might focus on Manila, the Philippines as the setting for the game. There hasn’t been any confirmation on these reports.

Each new installment of GTA has taken four to five years to develop. GTA 5 was released in 2013. Keeping this in mind, 2018 looks like the year of the GTA 6. However, Rockstar Games is still working on GTA 5 and hence work on GTA 6 might be delayed. The delay might postpone the release date for GTA 6 to 2020.

Players can try their hands on the recently released GTA 5 Redux mod while they wait for the GTA 6. The mod tweaks the entire single player experience and will soon get a promised texture update.

Stay tuned for more news on GTA 6.
