GTA 5 Online Update Adds Deadline Mode, New Bike, more Features to Come Soon!

But once again, it’s too early to think about “GTA 6” at the moment, and it’s quite clear that Rockstar are actively focused on their work on “GTA 5” right now. Perhaps in a few months when things around that game calm down, we could see some more concrete reports about the next installment.

Players have also been wishing for a bit more customization and moddability to be introduced to “GTA 5”, as this has been the community’s main gripe with the game ever since it came out. We’ve seen some amazing things done with mods for “GTA: San Andreas” and “GTA IV”.

However, this probably clashes with Rockstar’s plans to keep releasing DLC for the game, so there is a slim chance that we’re going to see it made more open and accessible to modders.

The only possible exception is once Rockstar stop developing new DLC for the game, but it could take a while for things to get there. Plus, by that point, some players might have already lost interest in it and it’s not certain just how much sense it would make for Rockstar to put any extra effort in something like that.

They’ve already done quite a lot for “GTA 5” in the first place, so at some point the studio is obviously going to want to kick back and enjoy the success they’ve built for themselves. For most studios, that point would have already come months ago.
