After much anticipation, the PC version of “GTA 5” is finally here, and gamers have been going crazy with its content. “Better late than never” is the common consensus among players, and for what it’s worth, the PC port of the game works quite well and doesn’t have any serious issues, according to the initial reviews. And unlike console players, PC gamers won’t have to wait extra for the “Heists” DLC, as it’s included in the base game directly on launch.
Other than that, players should also be happy to hear that they’ll be able to enjoy the game in a stunning 4K resolution at 60 FPS, at least those who support it on their computers. The game seems to be relatively well optimized so it shouldn’t require too powerful hardware in order to reach its full graphical potential, and this is certainly an improvement over the situation with “GTA 4”, which came with some very serious hardware requirements that gamers found hard to meet.
There have also been rumors about a new “Casinos” DLC coming up soon, but we don’t know when it’s supposed to be released exactly. According to the rumors, it will have four separate mini-games, including Blackjack, Poker, Roulette and Slot machines, and it will be separate from the content in “Heists”, even though it has some similarities to it.
Rockstar haven’t confirmed the content officially themselves, but there is a good reason to believe that the new DLC is coming at some point. The only thing we don’t know is when it will be ready for the market, but Rockstar might be preparing a bigger surprise than players are expecting, and end up announcing something even more special.
In other news, “Heists” has been received very well so far, with most players enjoying the new content and claiming that it adds a lot to the already rich experience of the base game. Even though it took Rockstar some time to get it ready, the wait was definitely worth it in the end, and players are still enjoying the missions introduced in the DLC all the time.
There have been rumors that we might get more missions for the special game mode at some point, but no official confirmation of that has been made so far – and Rockstar seem to be focusing on other aspects of the game too, so it’s not clear when exactly they might get the chance to come up with new missions for “Heists”. In any case, the game is already quite the good experience in its current state, and is definitely worth the purchase on all platforms, according to critics and fans. With a few updates over the long term, it could live on for many years easily
