Currently, we are only a month away from the much-anticipated release of GTA 5 for the next-generation consoles like the PS4 and the Xbox One. All diehard GTA fans are aware that the release of this title for the next-gen consoles will also mark the launch of the special GTA 5 Online Heists DLC update. However, many troubling signs are now being noticed as we approach the month of November.
Gamers expected Heists to be released along with the game. It now seems that we may not be able to experience this DLC until after the launch of GTA 5 for PS4 and Xbox One. GTA 5 tipster, DomisLive indicates that the inconsistency comes down to the timing.
The upcoming 1.18 update for GTA 5 is expected to arrive by late October, around the time of Halloween. GTA 5 for consoles is expected to release on November 15th. Rockstar, therefore, has a time of around 2 weeks to launch their Heists DLC after the release of a Halloween update.
On the other hand, many other titles from heavyweight developers will release during the upcoming Christmas Holiday season. For example, Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare will release on 4th November along with Assassins Creed Unity on November 11th. These releases will coincide with the GTA 5 release for consoles. Ubisoft will also launch their upcoming title, Far Cry 4 on the same date as GTA 5. Due to this huge amount of competition, it is highly unlikely for Rockstar to unveil any title during this period.
Recently GTA declared in their website that they are aware of how much the gaming community is currently expecting the launch of the co-op Heists DLC. Rockstar stated that they were currently working on the development of Heists and wish to make it as much polished and fun-filled as possible.
Furthermore, it was declared that the gamers should certainly stay tuned for additional details in the New Year. From this declaration, it is evident that Rockstar does not wish to get lost in the competition and is, therefore, gearing up for an early 2015 launch.

Stay tuned for more info on the latest titles!
In the meantime, the Grand Theft Auto V Online 1.18 update patch will include Deathmatch and Race Creators Tool as two of the newest features. Rockstar stated that with this patch, gamers will be able to create their content online for Deathmatch and Race Creators Beta. For further excitement, they added that gamers will now get the same tools and resources that were used by the design and development team.
Crafting your blood-soaked gunfights and fun-filled high-octane street races will come as a treat for the GTA 5 fans. The update is also rumored to contain many Halloween related themes including chainsaws, zombies, skeletons and much more.
