The last few episodes of Grimm Season 4’s Fall Finale have got viewers dangling from a cliff! Well, this isn’t exactly the first time that the makers have chosen to test the viewers’ patience – the start of Season 3 wasn’t exactly patience inducing, considering that Nick – characterized by David Giuntoli – was zombified and on a plane to Vienna!
The events surrounding Juliette – played by Bitsie Tulloch – and Sgt. Wu – played by Reggie Lee – kept the fans busy while Monroe’s fate remains uncertain. Another interesting story this season is the introduction of the ‘Chupacabra’ – a blood-sucking monster! This Chupacabra is a doctor, which turns into this beast due to a genetic blood disorder.
Nick and Hank – played by Russell Hornby – are brought to a certain point where they need to pronounce the existence of the Wesen world to Sgt. Wu. However, unlike Hank and Juliette, Wu is not able to cope up with their existence so well. It feels as if the entire definition of fact and fiction has broken apart. Viewers will have to watch the upcoming episode for further details!
Unlike most Wesen, who can control Woge, the Chupacabra was visible to one and all. Hence, Wu could not help but get an eyeful of the wolf-like creature. The detectives had no choice but to explain to Wu the existence of other species, to prevent him from losing his sanity.
The Chupacabra story brings forth numerous funny one-line punches to this season, especially when Hank and Juliette are engaged in conversation. Juliette reveals that her grandmother blamed the Chupacabra for almost anything, be it missing pets to a missing needle. She revealed that staying out late at night and driving home with an unknown man was considered extremely dangerous, but she realized later that it wasn’t necessarily the Chupacabra that was at fault in the latter situations!
Monroe and Rosalie’s marriage has turned quite a few heads in the Wesen world, and the Secundum Naturae Ordinem Wesen is not too happy about it. They leave a dead fox hanging right outside the Spice shop, a definite indication towards her being a Fuchsbau, and she was warned of her blood being spilt, if she did not leave Monroe – a Blutbad.
Season Grimm 4 features a few very confusing situations like the part where Juliette transforms into an Adalind lookalike. We saw Juliette woge into a Hexenbiest too! Just another day at the office for Nick!
