We’ve also heard claims that the season will be focused on Alex to a large extent, and if that’s true, we expect Jo to be in the spotlight often as well.
If the claims about Alex are true, then the situation with Jo will likely be used as a tool to develop the plot and push it in the right direction, allowing the writers to expose his character better. Especially if they want to show some of his more sensitive/vulnerable aspects, as this would make for a good background for such revelations.
