The latest, third episode of the current season of “Grey’s Anatomy” was full of interesting moments, including some rather hard to believe scenes. It looks like the writers of the show are getting less and less reluctant to touch on some extraordinary themes in their scripts, and there’s definitely nothing wrong with that considering how long the show has been on for.
This episode actually saw what was probably one of the most shocking scenes in the show’s history as a whole. A patient more or less came back to life in a seemingly impossible situation, and even though the event was described with realistic medical conditions and precedents, it was still quite hard to believe.
Fans were divided on the scene, with some praising the showrunners for the tense way in which it was presented, while others were seemingly annoyed by the overall direction the show has taken. It’s obvious at this point that the producers of “Grey’s Anatomy” are going to have to take some bolder risks if they want to keep things interesting, so fans should probably get used to the idea.
On a somewhat related note, what are the producers actually planning for the future episodes of the show? There have been various rumors on that front, and many fans suspect that this might not be the most unbelievable scene we’re about to see.
Plus, there are some questions about the future of some specific characters, as well as how others are going to move forward after some recent changes. More specifically, the departure of Sara Ramirez took some fans by surprise, and according to recent reports, some people on the production crew were just as shocked by the development.
It seems like the show may have been handled a bit differently if there was more information about the planned departure of the actress, but we still got a pretty good development of the story in any case, and the writers gave it their best shot.
Next up, it sounds like we have some tense moments approaching, as the previews for episode 4 imply that the show is going to continue with its dramatic tone. This season is apparently going to be dedicated to the theme of change, and we’re going to see various characters undergoing some interesting transformations in their personalities and the circumstances in their lives, and some of that is going to be explored in the very next episode.
One of the more negative developments coming up is an apparent problem in the marriage of Amelia and Owen. The two haven’t been together for that long, but it looks like they’re already hitting a rough spot in their relationship and things might be headed for disaster.
Whether they will manage to sort out their issues in time or not will be revealed in episode 4, and some fans are apparently convinced that the final outcome is going to be a bad one for the characters. In the least, they are likely going to go through some moments of serious relationship problems.
It makes sense too, as “Grey’s Anatomy” has always been about drama to a large extent, and the producers surely aren’t going to miss such a ripe opportunity to create some moments of tension between their characters, and keep their fans on edge. Hopefully things are going to work out for the couple in the long run though, as it would be unpleasant to see them splitting up.
