For the first time after a long, long while, Rockstar Games will not be delaying the release of the open-world action adventure video game “Grand Theft Auto V” on the PC but actually advancing it by three days.
A tweet from Rockstar on April 11 stated that the “Grand Theft Auto V” will go live on the PC on April 14 in the US. Gamers who have purchased the video game ahead of its launch have also began pre-loading the game early this week, notes IGN.
“GTA V” was released on November 18, 2014 for the PS4 and Xbox One but Rockstar did not unveil the PC version. It said then that it will launch the Windows version of the game on January 27.
But early in January, it moved the launch of the game on the PC to March 21. Then early in March, it deferred the PC launching of “GTA V” to April 17.
Gamers have long been waiting for the PC version of “GTA V” since it has a multiplayer feature that can accommodate as much as 30 players in a particular game simultaneously.
Heists DLC
Rockstar released the heists DLC on March 10, 523 days after the developer promised it to gamers during the launch of “GTA V” on the Xbox 360 and the PlayStation 3 in October 2013.
The zombie DLC for “GTA V” is almost like a bonus release for gamers since they have been looking forward more to the heists DLC on “GTA Online” more than any other new content from Rockstar.
Looking back to the past promises of Rockstar, the zombie DLC should have been release during the Halloween of 2014 as previously reported. But it never came out so when it was unveiled on March 10, it has somewhat lost its thrill. Still, it was a welcome addition to “GTA V” fanatics, numbering millions the world over.
Because of the lots of waiting for a game content, everybody thought that Rockstar has something special in it that is why it took the developer so long to release it to the already waiting and very anxious gamers.
Upon its release however, gamers were actually one in unison in saying that indeed, the cooperative gameplay DLC is the best content that has ever come to “GTA” and to video gaming in general.
The DLC has enabled avid “GTA V” gamers the opportunity to work together as a team and pull of a string of intense multi-part raids and robberies across Los Santos and Blaine County.
In addition to the prison break and bank heists missions, “GTA V” gamers now have to contend with zombies too. When the heists DLC was released, Rockstar also provided gamers and fans more details and information to make their experience truly worth it.
