Jim Gordon in particular has been going through some interesting changes and it looks like his character will soon be nothing like his original self, for better or worse – but in general, it looks like there will be nothing good in those changes.
He’s been turning into a corrupt version of himself, according to some reviewers, although this might be a ruse that leads up to a more positive development later in the season. We certainly wouldn’t put it past the writers of “Gotham” to have come up with something like that.
But of course, with the way the show’s storyline has been treating the character, it might not be that surprising that he’s going through such a change and will eventually end up in a bad place.
It’s a logical progression for him, and the writers of “Gotham” might even be planning a huge downfall for Gordon, especially if some of the more dramatic rumors about the future of season 2 are to be believed. There’s only one way to find out though – we need to watch the season until the end, and it looks like there will be plenty of moments to keep us glued to the screen that will make it more than worthwhile to follow this show to the end.
