GoPro Hero 5 to Feature an Ambarella Processor When it Launches in October, Confirms Financial Analyst!

Latest rumors about the action camera are saying that it would come out with a GPS feature. This means that the photos and videos taken by the GoPro Hero 5 will be automatically tagged with the user’s location and stored in the metadata which would be useful when the user shares content on social media. It will also make EXIF info readily available.

In addition, the GPS of the device could also be used to track other things for the user including elevation or speed so that he or she can see how far he or she has dropped while on a particularly daring snowboarding session or bungee jumping stunt perhaps.

The GPS feature of the GoPro Hero 5 is the latest inclusion to the rumored specifications and capabilities of the action camera including a new interface, more streamlined controls, a touch screen, and a major design upgrade from its predecessor, the GoPro Hero 4.

It has been previously reported that the GoPro Hero 5 shall be smaller and lighter which would benefit new users more than the old users of Hero series action cameras. The old users of the action camera line might need to shell out an additional expense for replacement cases, batteries, or other accessories.
