GoPro Hero 5 Black has a 1220mAh Lithium-ion battery which is comparatively higher in its power capacity. But, it doesn’t leave the predecessors behind completely. The battery runs for 1 hour and 58 minutes as opposed to 1 hour and 32 minutes for the rival Garmin Virb Ultra 30. Enabling the app access and navigation depletes the battery quickly.
The newest feature is the introduction of GoPro Plus which a cloud facility. It can store up to 35 hours of video, 62,500 photos at a monthly subscription of 5$ per month. The app called Quick can be used to edit videos.
The plus accounts have a linking option through which one can share pictures and videos on social media with just one click. GoPro is also supported by Livestream and Periscope’s mobile apps which make live-streaming easier.
