GoPro Hero 5 Surrounded by Speculation and Fan Wishes; Will the Device Offer 3D or Live Streaming? Let’s See

As for basic video recording, as long as the GoPro Hero 5 can handle something in the neighborhood of a 4K resolution at 60 FPS (which is rumored all the time), it should be fine for most people’s needs. GoPro should definitely be careful to not go below this threshold though, as more and more people are starting to expect similar performance from their action cameras.

We also wouldn’t mind seeing some extra physical protection in the next device, although the current line of GoPros can handle most kinds of abuse relatively well. If the next camera does come with the various features that are being rumored right now though, it might definitely need to be more durable as people are sure to put it to more rigorous “tests”.

But in the end, GoPro already have some experience developing sturdy, reliable hardware, so it shouldn’t be too big of an issue for them to ensure that this is handled adequately, as well as offered at a good price.

More importantly, they should focus on developing the feature set of the device and giving people a reason to go for the Hero 5 instead of the various offers by Sony and other companies that have flooded the market recently. It’s one of the hottest markets right now, and it pays to move fast and take risks for those who want their name to stay relevant for a good while.
