The Android Developers Blog reports, that the update coming this December, will add support for circular icons, app shortcuts, improved live wallpaper metadata, and also sport image keyboard support. Each of these updates are catered to, specifically for developers.
However, their application with apps will be also be appreciated by the consumers.
Google has yet to announce a full list of features that will come with the Android 7.1. It is possible that it will improve on what works for the initial 7.0 Nougat. Even though, the Google Nexus 6 will get the update, chances are that it won’t be getting all of the features, particularly if the phone cannot handle the processing requirements for properly performing them.
It seems that a firm group of Android device owners are less concerned about what the latest operating system from Google i.e. Android 7.0 Nougat, is all about. This is so, as they are more intrigued about the upcoming Android 7.1 Nougat upgrade. We are talking about the Nexus devices users.
As stated above, starting from the end of October the upgrade shall be available as a developer beta. Any one, who is enlisted into the Android Beta program, shall be privy to downloading and checking it out.
