Google Nexus 7 Release Date, Specs and Rumours, The Device Is Likely to Be Renamed and Google To Replace the Android OS!

Amongst other specs, the Google Nexus/Pixel 2016 tablet will reportedly also feature a 7-inch AMOLED screen and a NVIDIA’s Tegra X1 processing chip.The Snapdragon 820 SoC processor will be coupled with Adreno 530, a 128GB internal storage. There will also be provision for expandable memory of up to 2TB storage space.

The budget-friendly Google Nexus/Pixel 2016 tablet is anticipated to come with an asking price of around $260. In a recent report by PC Tablet, it was stated that the tablet might hit the stores by Thanksgiving, in other words by the 24th of November, this year.

Although, as because no such news has been confirmed by the manufacturers, fans are advised to take the information with a hefty pinch of salt.

Neurogadget pointed out a few reasons as to why the tech company decided to reuse the name of its predecessor; however, it’s likely that it could also be renamed down the line. After all, code names are not uncommon as established by their newest smartphone releases.

The tablet is supposedly going to be manufactured by HTC, much like its advertised Pixel cousins. A representative for the Taiwanese consumer electronics group communicated that HTC sounds pretty content with their partnership with Google, as well as with their attempts to continue the relationship, as they take it forward.
