In addition to the two variants of the Nexus 7 2016, Google shall also release two new Nexus-branded smartwatches called Angelfish and Swordfish.
According to reports, the two Android wearables will feature advanced Google Assistant AI integration features with Android Wear 2.0 OS.
They shall also include LTE, heart rate monitor functionality, and GPS with better text input controls. However, there is no official update on the probable release date of the smartwatches.
Incidentally, Google Nexus 2016 shall have Android Nougat on board since Android’s senior VP, Hiroshi Lockheimer, revealed the hint in his Twitter account.
Lockheimer tweeted the news either on purpose or not; stating that he’s just testing some stuff out but the image posted shows the word ‘Nougat’ on Google search engine.
