Glee Season 6 returns to the small screen on January 9th and the makers have promised an entertaining view by bringing a two-hour long premiere episode that brings the entire cast from the previous editions back together for the day. Memories are bound to flash right back, and fans are unlikely to miss out the episode at any cost!
The first episode of Glee Season 6 is titled ‘Loser Like me’ and showcases Rachel’s love for Lima re-igniting. The two get back together, following her failure to jump-start her acting career. Since Rachel has already severed ties with her Broadway group, she has no other option but to return home.
However, home is not what she was used to. While her family house is being sold, her parents have filed for divorce. Once back home, Rachel gets in touch with Blaine, Sam, and Will. While Blaine is Dalton Academy Glee Club’s coach, Sam quit his modeling career to take up the position of the Assistant Football Coach while Will coaches Vocal Adrenaline.
Much to her dissatisfaction, Rachel finds out that Sue is the new Principal at McKinley’s and has disbanded the Glee club. However, Rachel makes up her mind to form a new club, with help from some of the original and some new member. The old boys include Quinn, Puck, Kurt, Santana, Tina, Artie, Mercedes, and Brittany.
Their efforts to reform the Glee Club will be portrayed in the second episode of season six, which is titled ‘Homecoming.’ Glee Season 6 is slated to feature 13 episodes before the mid-season hiatus and spoilers reveal that at least two marriages are in the cards before season six comes to an end!
Santana and Brittany is one of the lucky couple who are getting ready to get hitched, and the two have been hinting about their marriage for a long time. The other couple is likely to be Blaine and Kurt. Although, the two have broken up, season 6 witnesses Kurt pondering upon his decision to let Blaine leave.
Brad Falchuk, Co-Director, revealed that Season six will be eventful for the couple, although, the things will ultimately turn out fine for the duo. The production team has tried to recreate the original magic with Glee Season 6. Relationships have been explored while the stories have got more complicated. Fans are in for a surprise as the season nears the end. Hence, you might not want to miss season 6 from the start.
