We’re going to find out sooner or later in any case, and it’s possible that Disney are intentionally not revealing anything right now due to the holiday season. If they do have some disappointing news in store, it’s probably best to wait until the holidays are over before letting their fans know.
The studio tends to be quite secretive about the current status of their work though, so we fully expect them to keep things under the table until the last minute. However, that could easily backfire on them if they’re not careful.
If Disney wait too long until they announce their plans, fans might give up and consider the show to be officially dead and cancelled. The studio is likely well aware of the current situation and the overall climate in their community though, so if they do have a negative announcement coming up, we suspect that it won’t take too long for them to make it public.
For now, most fans of “Girl Meets World” seem to be focused on the upcoming developments in the remaining episodes of season 3, and it looks like the show is still going to enjoy a large enough viewership for its remaining episodes. Hopefully fans will be treated to a nice surprise in the end, as the announcement that season 4 is coming would be a great Christmas gift for all of them.
