On the other hand, “Boy Meets World” was a Freeform show, so there is already some background on that side of the story. It’s possible that coming to an agreement would not be that difficult behind the scenes, and if that is the case we expect to hear some news pretty soon.
Whether or not a fourth season is confirmed, fans at least still have something to look forward to in about two weeks. The show will get a special episode for Halloween titled “Girl Meets World of Terror 3”.
This should fill the gap until the possible return of the show quite nicely, and if it does end up getting cancelled after season 4, it would at least give fans a nice way to remember it by.
Hopefully we aren’t going to talk about “Girl Meets World” in the past tense soon though, as the show definitely seems to have a lot of potential that can still be realized. Combined with the huge following of fans who are still loyally waiting for any announcement from the showrunners, this is an obvious goldmine which they would be too unwise to pass on. But then again, the network probably knows what’s best for them better than any outside observers in the end.
