Tetsuya Nomura, director of Final Fantasy XV, left his project in order to spend more time on Kingdom Hearts 3. We are all aware that Tetsuya Nomura was the one who worked on the original concept for the Final Fantasy XV story, the game universe and also the characters portrayed in it. Henceforth, as indicated by Square Enix, Nomura will only be working on titles that he can develop.
He will start delivering products that exceed the quality of many of his past titles. All of this ultimately leads to one expectation for gamers: Kingdom Hearts 3 is going to be unbelievable! The game will receive the total, undivided attention of Tetsuya Nomura. As a result, people can simply imagine how fascinating this upcoming title will turn out to be.
Although Nomura has moved from Final Fantasy to Kingdom Hearts 3, he may not be the only change that we get to see. Gamers believe that this upcoming title will feature close ties with the previous games he was working on, namely Final Fantasy XV. For now, we should take a look at the past and figure out what we know so far. Gamers expected numerous ideas to be taken from Final Fantasy XV and implemented in Kingdom Hearts 3.
However, in reality, we will witness an opposing scenario. It looks like Kingdom Hearts 3 has inspired Final Fantasy in a big way. The combat system in Final Fantasy is being totally revamped by borrowing the structure from the Kingdom Hearts series. Final Fantasy has been making a lot of improvements over time, leaving behind its older formula.
There are many gamers who have never liked the turn based system used in the Final Fantasy games. The early experiences with such a system were good for most gamers. However, nowadays, the games are quite fast-paced, and the combat system seems to be lagging behind. As a result, developers of the Final Fantasy series are trying to improve it and bring it up to pace. Naturally, such developments by Square Enix will not go unnoticed by players who prefer action.
The new combat structure makes this title appealing to gamers worldwide, although, one cannot expect a newbie to get immediately hooked onto the 15th installment.
For the upcoming Final Fantasy title, real-time battles and action sequences will be featured, just like in Kingdom Hearts 3. Sharing ideas between these two titles is not quite new. In earlier Kingdom Hearts titles, we have seen characters like Setzer, Yuffie, Aerith, Cloud and others taken from Final Fantasy games.
