Gamers Suggest Ways to Bethesda to Enhance “Elder Scrolls 6” Gameplay

The sixth installment to the open-world fantasy role playing video game “Elder Scrolls” is one of the most anticipated and awaited video games that gamers have been in the lookout for in the PC and the next generating gaming consoles.

Game developer Bethesda has initially hinted of a late 2015 release date for “Elder Scrolls 6” but eventually announced that it cannot do any launching of the game this year, pushing it back to the first quarter of 2016.

The delay did not lessen the excitement of gamers on the video game, which is considered one of the greatest video game franchises in history.

Its transformation into a cultural phenomenon is its 30 million units sold in the span of five game titles, the most of which were made by the “Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim” released way back in 2011, notes Movie Pilot.

Amid the resounding success of the “Elder Scrolls” franchise, particularly “Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim,” gamers believe that Bethesda can still make some tweaks and adjustments to ensure that the gameplay of “Elder Scrolls 6” would be as seamless as possible and get gamers more involved and engrossed when the game finally comes out next year.

Need for adjustments

An obvious gamer who wrote the article on Movie Pilot suggested a number of viable ways to really improve the game further and add on to the legacy and legend of the “Elder Scrolls” franchise.

First of the bat is the limitless and enormous world that gamers have to contend with. Bethesda should work on ensuring that the world should be within manageable confines to make the players feel that they are not just aimlessly wandering around.

Bethesda should also look into getting the armour of the players in “Elder Scrolls 6” getting more degradation because accordingly, it adds more tension to battles and skirmishes. That’s in addition to the fact that players would really develop better relationships with blacksmiths in the process.

Gamers are also pushing that the horses in the upcoming “Elder Scrolls 6” should at least be able to carry something so that players would have enough loot and storage to carry and use during battles.

Inventory woes are the most hated problems of gamers in any video game so Bethesda should consider doing something about it in the next installment of “Elder Scrolls 6.” Gamers truly have a good point there since what good is a loot or an item if players cannot put it in their overflowing inventory and be able to use it later in the game.

Bethesda should also consider doing tweaks so that horses should not attack enemies because they almost always end up dead, according to gamers.

And finally, Bethesda should really consider a larger variety in terms of race and options for a follower in the game because most players have already found them quite annoying already. It would also help if the developer would allow a gamer more than just one follower so that the gameplay walks in the wilderness become more bearable.

  1. Way to miss the mark with inconsequential nitpicks, most of which would actually detract from the game experience.

What the next TES game should improve is: its terrible animations, its boring combat system (this includes melee and magic), and improve the AI in at least a few key aspects (sneak detection mostly).

Then they can take a look at the modding community for a few ideas on the minor details. If they have the time, they should also include a hardcore mode like one of the Fallout games did.
