Game of Thrones Season 7 will be Out of This World so Fans Should Brace Themselves, Says Maisie Williams

If there is anyone entitled to tease fans about the upcoming season of “Game of Thrones,” it’s none other than Arya Stark herself.

Maisie Williams recently took to Twitter her reaction upon reading the scripts for the seventh season of the HBO hit fantasy drama TV series. The script was probably so intense the 19-year-old actress couldn’t contain her emotions.

The Emmy-nominated actress says that things get pretty real in the upcoming season and even advised fans that they should prepare themselves for what’s to come.

She then followed up a tweet saying that nothing will prepare fans for what’s about to happen and that she’s excited for everyone to see how it all unfolds.

It’s not yet clear whether the English actress has already read the script for the whole season or for the season premiere alone, but it’s clear that she raves about it.

Williams’ reaction jives with how the story wrapped up in Season 6. The Season 6 finale was the most watched episode in the show’s history.

Kit Harrington’s Jon Snow emerged as King in the North, following the revelation to viewers that he’s secretly the son of Lyanna Stark and Rhaegar Targaryen.

Emilia Clarke’s Daenerys Targaryen has finally set sail for Westeros, alongside an incredibly powerful fleet of allies while Lena Headey’s Cersei Lannister destroyed many of her enemies in a burst of wildfire.

Her son was also committed to house arrest which paved the way for Cersei to claim the Iron Throne. The white walker threat is still marching its way towards the wall, threatening to bring the Seven Kingdoms down.

With Maisie, and probably the other cast members, receiving a copy of the script for the upcoming Season 7, it is speculated that filming will begin soon.

Just like the previous season, the upcoming season will not be loosely based on George R.R. Martin’s novels although it will probably incorporate some elements.

According to The Independent of UK, nine new characters will be introduced in the upcoming season. The show is looking to cast a general, priest, warrior, gate guard, city guard, merchant, lovely lady, young Lord, and Lieutenant in Season 7.

According to the media outlet, the general is a senior military officer and production is looking for a white actor who uses the British RP accent for the role.

The priest meanwhile is described to be a venerable preacher with a moral authority and gravitas. The actor who will play the part should possess a characterful face.

The warrior, on the other hand, is a tough-looking bruiser with the attack skills of a pit bull. He also has a considerable amount of dialogue. The actor needed to for the role needs to be great at fighting.

The show is also looking for actors who will play a gate guard and a city guard. The gate guard is described as confident and characterful while the city guard will intercept a suspicious looking person on his night patrol.

As for the merchant, casting descriptions suggest that the character will appear somewhere in Essos — a place where Daenerys will be coming across while she’s on the move.

A young Lord will also be introduced in Season 7. The character is described as tall and handsome to be played by a white actor.

One lovely lady and Lieutenant will also join the show in the upcoming season. The Lieutenant is described to be athletic, physically fit, and disciplined warrior while not much is revealed for the lady but the character requires full nudity.

Season 7 was announced to debut later than usual due to filming issues. Series creator David Benioff and D.B. Weiss said that this was due to the climate needed for the scenes.
