Game of Thrones Season 7 to See the Expected Alliance Between Daenerys’ Dothraki Army and the Starks!

Fans of the HBO hit series “Game of Thrones” are pretty much aware that the end game to the phenomenal TV show is coming up soon so it is expected that the good will triumph over evil. After all, the TV series is based on the fantasy novel “A Song of Ice and Fire” by critically-acclaimed author George R.R. Martin.

Based on the Season 6 finale, there has been a couple of alignment of forces that were shown both in the south and in the north.

Over in the north, after winning the Battle of the Bastards and retaking Winterfell from Ramsay Bolton and his army, Jon Snow is proclaimed the new King of the North and has in fact unified most of the houses there.

Down south, after getting rid of the masters and the sons of the Harpy with the help of the Dothraki army, Daenerys Targaryen also aligned with Theon and Yara Greyjoy from the Iron Isles as they brought along 30 ships with them.

The Mother of Dragons, through the workings of Lord Varys, also got the support and partnership of the House Tyrell through matriarch Olenna Tyrell after his son, grandson Loras, and granddaughter Margaery got killed in the explosion in the Great Sept of Baelor in King’s Landing that also killed the High Septon.

It is also expected that the Sand Snakes of Dorne will also join Daenerys as they are also out to avenge the death of Oberyn Martell from the hands of The Mountain and Cersei Lannister.

Forging of alliances will continue

Reports now have it that the forging of alliances will continue in the upcoming Season 7 of “Game of Thrones” and nothing is more exciting than the already expected alliance of Daenerys’ Dothraki army with the Starks of the north.

After all, Jon Snow and Daenerys Targaryen are actually blood relatives because the former is the nephew of the latter based on the revelation that the King of the North is the son of Rhaegar, the brother of Daenerys, and Lyanna Stark, the sister of Ned Stark.

The speculations about this important and highly anticipated alliance became more evident when recent leaked photos of filming showed actors Kit Harrington, who plays Jon Snow, Liam Cunningham, who plays Ser Davos Seaworth, and Peter Dinklage, who plays Tyrion Lanister filming in Basque Country in Spain. The setting apparently represents King’s Landing.

Also in the same location were Missandei, played by Nathalie Emmanuel, the closest aide of Daenerys, and a few Dothraki soldiers, reports the International Business Times of UK.

Fans were quick to assume that the King of the North shall be coming down south and meet up with Khaleesi as they prepare to retake the throne from Cersei Lannister, who shall reportedly forge an alliance with Euron Greyjoy from the Iron Isles.

The alliance between Jon Snow and Queen Daenerys is speculated to fulfill George R. R. Martin’s book title, “A Song of Ice and Fire.” However, it will be interesting to see how show creators and writers David Benioff and DB Weiss will narrate the highly anticipated meeting.

The first meeting

There are also assumptions that Jon Snow and Daenerys shall actually be meeting also in King’s Landing as new reports and photographs revealed that both Kit Harrington and Emilia Clarke have been spotted shooting scenes on the set together, details the Express of UK.

It would be the first time that the two characters will meet in the TV series after more than six seasons.

However, it is not known whether Jon Snow is aware that the Mother of Dragons is, in fact, his aunt on his father’s side during their meeting. As it is, only Bran Stark knows that secret.

Meanwhile, during the Season 6 finale of “Game of Thrones,” it was already revealed, though indirectly that the parents of Jon Snow are Rhaegar Targaryen and Lyanna Stark, thus confirming previous hints about R+L= J.
