The other main plotline would be on Daenerys’ journey to King’s Landing and how the ultimate battle for the Iron Throne will shape up in Season 7.
There has been some realignment of forces in the South as well when the mother of dragons regained her control of Mereen and getting plenty of ships in the process from the revolting Masters.
Aside from getting more ships from Theon and Yara Greyjoy, it was also shown that Lord Varys has worked out the support of the Sand Snakes in Dorne as well as House Tyrell for Daenerys.
Olenna Tyrell has no recourse but to avenge the death of her son, her granddaughter Margaery, and grandson Loras all in the hands of Cersei Lannister. Ellaria, the leader of the Sand Snakes also has an ax to grind against Cersei. She believed that Cersei was responsible for Prince Oberyn’s death in the hands of The Mountain during the trial by combat to prove the guilt of his brother Tyrion for the death of his son King Joffrey Baratheon by poison in Season 4.
Exciting times are up ahead in Season 7 of “Game of Thrones” and all speculations would be proven right or wrong when the show returns to HBO in April next year.
