It is likely that The Hound will be in Season 7 of “Game of Thrones” as he has already joined the House without banners, with some fans and critics looking forward into the possibility of him squaring up against his already reinforced brother, Gregor Clegane, also known as The Mountain, in one of the episodes.
It is possible that Jim Broadbent would have a similar role as in Ian McShane in Season 6 and he is certainly a plus for “Game of Thrones” Season 7.
Jim Broadbent is the latest “Harry Potter” actor who jumped from wizard world to Westeros and the list already includes Natalie Tena, who played Tonks in “Harry Potter” and Osha in “Game of Thrones;” David Bradley, who played Mr. Filch in “Harry Potter” and Walder Frey in “GoT;” and Hinds, who played Albus Dumbledore’s brother Aberforth in “Harry Potter” and Mance Rayder in “Game of Thrones.”
Incidentally, “Game of Thrones” Season 6 has been nominated in 23 categories in the upcoming Emmy Awards slated this month, including first-time nods to Kit Harrington, who plays Jon Snow, and Maisie Williams, who plays Arya Stark.
The two young performers were obviously nominated for their sterling performances during the Season 6 and it would not be surprising if one of them or both come out winners in their respective categories.
