“Game of Thrones” has garnered the most Emmy nominations of any TV show for three consecutive years now. Last year, it took home the Emmy for Best Drama for the first time.
This year, the show nabbed an impressive 23 Emmy nominations, one nomination short for their entries last year. The nominees were released last week and the list for the 68th Primetime Emmy Awards had a distinct feeling of déjà vu.

The Emmy’s received a big nod on the Hollywood’s diversity debate, with nearly a quarter of nominated actors being non-white. Viola Davis has been nominated again for Best Actress in a Dramatic Role for “How to Get Away with Murder”.
Other non-white actors nominated this year is “Black-ish” star Tracee Ellis Ross and Rami Malek of “Mr. Robot,” along with “Master of None” star Aziz Ansari. The Emmy’s is set on September 18 with Jimmy Kimmel hosting the show.
