“Game of Thrones” is in a great spot right now, and many people are optimistic for the new season. George R.R. Martin has been quite slow with his work on the next book in the original series the show was based on, but most fans don’t seem to mind the wait right now.
After all, it’s much better to know that he’ll finish the book in an actually meaningful way, as opposed to rushing it just to meet some deadlines. The author has been trying to keep his fans updated on the situation as well, so he obviously has some concerns about his pace of work himself.
This has been a common concern among fans of “A Song of Ice of Fire”, and some fans have even taken things to extreme levels such as wondering if the author would be able to get the next book finished while he’s actually capable of doing that.
