‘Game of Thrones’ Season 7 Casts Oscar-Winning Actor Jim Broadbent in a Mystery Role!

Because she has three dragons with her, it is obvious why Daenerys would be taking a look at the Dragonpit, which her family once used to house the dragons of the Targaryens. But when the Mad King was killed and the Targaryens were booted out of power by the Baratheons, the Lannisters, and the Starks, the Dragonpit was destroyed.

While filming for Season 7 of “Game of Thrones” has yet to begin, there are reports going around that some production team members have been going around Belfast in Ireland to scout for possible filming location for the TV series.

In addition, there is also another set of production team looking and doing the same in Northern Ireland. The team was reportedly seen in Corbet, a village that hosted the Season 6 filming for the siege of Riverrun, featuring the Black Fish, Edmund Tully, and Jamie Lannister.

There is also the same team working on Spain for the scenes involving King’s Landing including the Dragonpit site.

It has already been confirmed that the Roman ruins called Italica in Santiponce, Seville in Spain shall be where the Dragonpit will be filmed.

Based on the fantasy novel series “A Song of Ice and Fire,” the Dragonpit is actually located just outside of King’s Landing so Queen Cersei Lannister would certainly not be thrilled finding out that a Targaryen and her dragons are just outside her doors.
