Incidentally, Dan Sackheim, the director of “Game of Thrones” Season 6 episode 4 denies the fan speculations that the letter that supposedly came from Ramsay Bolton and hand-delivered by one of his men to John Snow in Castle Black did not come from Ramsay but from Littlefinger.
Accordingly, Littlefinger is setting up the war between the Starks and the Boltons to be able to eventually control the North the way he planned it to be with the Lannisters way back in Season 4.
While the letter certainly seemed like Ramsay’s handiwork, but the prominent use of the term ‘come and see’ made some observant fans to believe that it is the work of Littlefinger because the character is known for such lines.
In a forum on Reddit, Sackheim said that he has no idea why the theory has gained traction. As much as he is denying it to the hilt, the same observant fans only have two words for him – Jon Snow. They have been tricked with Jon Snow and the show would do it again if it can.
Interesting times are up ahead in “Game of Thrones” Season 6 and it’s no wonder that fans are glued to their screens for practically every episode of the popular TV series.
