Another exciting news is that Khal Drogo might be appearing this season as well. Reports say that Jason Momoa, who plays the leader of the Dothraki people, might make a cameo as he was photographed with his onscreen wife, Emilia Clarke’s Daenerys.
Reports say that Khal Drogo, who died during the Season 1 finale, could appear in a flashback, a dream sequence, or a vision of some sort just like he did back in Season 2.
While the upcoming season appears to be a season of reunion, the show also welcomes new characters including Max von Sydow as the Three-Eyed Raven, Essie Davis and Richard E. Grant as a group of theater members, Pilou Asbaek as Euron Greyjoy, and Ian Mcshane in an unannounced role.
The sixth season of the fantasy drama will adapt the material from George R. R. Martin’s ‘A Song of Ice and Fire’ books, “A Feast of Crows,” “A Dance with Dragons,” and the upcoming “The Winds of Winter.”
The forthcoming sixth novel of the franchise will reportedly be available in book shelves next year just in time for the Season 6 premiere of “Game of Thrones.”
Producers say that Season 6 will contain storylines not found in the books as well. It is expected to premiere in April next year.
