Game of Thrones Season 6 Kit Harrington Continue to Insist that Jon Snow is Dead and Just Played in Some Episodes as a Corpse!

Season 6 of the hit fantasy novel drama TV series “Game of Thrones” is about to premiere on HBO on April 24 but actor Kit Harrington, who plays Jon Snow in the show, remains adamant and insistent that his character is already dead and gone.

During his recent guesting on the Jonathan Ross talk show, Harrington was asked whether his character Jon Snow will come back alive in the upcoming Season 6 of “Game of Thrones,” he said that he is merely appearing in the show as a corpse.

Loyal fans, viewers, as well as critics, would really find that hard to believe because he has been spotted in the Belfast set a number of times over a two-month period during the TV series’ filming up to late last year.

The actor explained at the talk show that he was at the show for so long because he was playing as a corpse. He added that he was there for a little bit and that he was there at the filming for about a month or two, explaining that scenes, where he was in, was spread over a bit, details the Independent of UK.

Hard to believe

It seems unlikely for anybody to believe Harrington’s latest pronouncements hook, line, and sinker since reports and leaks going around the internet really indicate that Jon Snow will be back alive. The only question remaining for fans and viewers to find out is who will resurrect Jon Snow and how will it be done.

As if to make himself believable to Ross and his audience, Harrington even said that he won’t tell how many episodes will he be lying as a corpse in Season 6 but it would be for a while. He added that it would be so satisfying for Ross and his audience to see for themselves in Season 6 of the TV series once they realized that the actor was really telling the truth the whole time.

It is possible that there is a standing order among the cast members of “Game of Thrones” that they should not be speaking anything about Season 6 of the TV series, whether they be plotlines or new cast member so that the show can continue building up the excitement.

As if to say that he does not believe Harrington at all with his pronouncements about “Game of Thrones,” Ross asked him how he manages to keep the secrets of the show all to himself. To which, Harrington responded rather hilariously when he said that he is already a corpse in the show so he is no longer capable of keeping secrets.

For the first time in six seasons of “Game of Thrones,” fans and viewers no longer have spoilers the way they used to enjoy with the books of George R.R. Martin. The release of the sixth book of the fantasy novel series “A Song of Ice and Fire,” entitled “The Winds of Winter” has been delayed from initially projected to come out before the Season 6 premiere of “Game of Thrones” to either the end of this year or early next year.

A ‘Game of Thrones’ aftershow

Meanwhile, HBO will be ushering the “After the Thrones” aftershow that will debut on April 25 on the network or one day after the Season 6 premiere of “Game of Thrones.”

“After the Thrones” will air every Monday beginning on April 25, or following every Season 6 episode of “Game of Thrones.”

Each episode of the aftershow will provide a recap of the latest episode, as well as give fans absurd and not-so-absurd theories about what’s to come in the succeeding episode, notes IGN.

Game of Thrones season 5

Andy Greenwald and Chris Ryan will host the aftershow, which shall be available via HBO NOW, HBO GO, and HBO On Demand.

HBO’s main channel will also air the episodes but the dates on which they will be available, have yet to be announced.
