That is what fans love about the HBO hit TV series “Game of Thrones,” it moves fast with its storylines though it is based on a narrative novel that is “A Song of Ice and Fire” by critically-acclaimed author George R.R. Martin.
The fourth episode of Season 6 of “Game of Thrones” looked way too constricted as the showrunners needed to feature scenes involving the show’s many characters but only had less than an hour to do it. In fact, a couple of them have to give way and not be featured at all this time including Arya Stark over at Braavos, and Bran Stark and the Three-Eyed Raven somewhere in the north.
But the big moments of episode 4 actually belonged to the reunion of Jon Snow and Sansa Stark over at Castle Black and Daenerys Targaryen once again showing her worth to the Dothrakis why she has the rightful claim to the true Khaleesi and the mother of dragons.
Towards the conclusion of the episode, Daenerys took her heated disagreements with the stubborn Khals to the next level by burning them all and their fancy horse palace to the ground, leaving everyone to ashes except herself, details the Telegraph of UK.
In a recent interview, Emilia Clarke, the actress who plays Daenerys, confirmed that she did not have any body double in the scene after she came out in the nude from the burning horse palace of the Khals.
She already had the opportunity to escape the Dothrakis when Daario and Jorah were able to get into her, but Daenerys still decided to stay. Apparently, she wanted to get the attention of the Khals and the Dothraki populace in her own way and she successfully did.
Now, she already has her Dothraki army who would fight for her in instilling order back in Mereen after they were run over by the Sons of Harpy while his consultant Tyrion Lannister appears to have forged a seven-year deal with the masters of Yunkai. That would be the first battle that seems to have been built up by the episode.
Heating up in Westeros
The second looming battle is in Westeros and it seems that it would be between the Lannisters and the Tyrells versus the High Sparrow and his sanctimonious flock.
While viewers are not too interested in this particular battle that is about to take place since it basically involves some people or characters whom they prefer to be dead than alive, it is hardly generating interest.
It seems that King Tommen has worked out an agreement with the High Sparrow to free his wife Queen Margaery, who in turn, wants the High Sparrow to free his brother Ser Loras.
Just like in the case of Cersei during the Season 5 finale, the High Sparrow seems to want the idea that Margaery makes the walk of atonement but her grandmother Olenna Tyrell and her father are not in favor of it.
But Kingsguard Jamie Lannister and his sister are determined to finally settle the score with the High Sparrow and his men and it seems that the Tyrells will eventually side with them once Margaery and Loras are freed from the hold of the High Sparrow.
It would be a battle alright but it looks to be a small one with the Lannisters and the Tyrells likely to come out as the victors.
The most exciting upcoming battle
But the most exciting looming battle in “Game of Thrones” Season 6 is the fight of the Starks to retake Winterfell.
During the episode, Ramsay Bolton sent a note to Jon Snow ordering him to return his wife Sansa Stark to him or risk his brother Rickon being skinned alive and his eyes being gorge out of his eye socket.
