Raising hell against the High Septon and the Sparrows
Over at King’s Landing, it is possible that Jaime Lannister will start raising hell against the High Septon and the Sparrows for incarcerating Cersei.
It will also be interesting how they will react after the death of Myrcella from the hands of the Sand Snakes and also when they learn that Dorne has fallen into the hands of the Sand Snakes after Prince Doran and Trystanne Martell were killed.
The Dorne plotline in the books of George R.R. Martin has not reached its payoff yet but its characters are far more compelling than in the TV series, notes Vox.
The characters in Dorne in Season 5 hardly made an impact on the storylines of “Game of Thrones.” Arianne Martell was omitted from the show while in the books, she is actually conflicted and driven by understandable motivations which are so unlike the show’s cartoonish Sand Snakes.
Prince Doran in the books is far more cunning than he appears. In the TV series, he appears to be a weakling and is simply content with ruling Dorne. In the books, Prince Doran has been plotting the overthrow of the Lannisters and the restoration of the Targaryens for years. The TV series can no longer portray him as such as he has already been killed by the Sand Snakes.
